The Peñón de Ifach, in Calpe, is the most iconic symbol of the Costa Blanca and a Natural Park of great beauty. This impressive limestone rock covers 50,000 m², reaching a height of 332 meters and extending one kilometer, connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. It originated from a landslide from the Sierra de Oltá, creating one of the most unique landscapes in the Mediterranean.
Since 1987, the Peñón has been protected as a Natural Park, housing a unique biodiversity. Its flora includes the Ifach carnation, an endemic species, as well as other plants and animals adapted to its distinctive environment. Its controlled hiking routes allow visitors to ascend to the summit, offering breathtaking panoramic views.
In addition to its natural wealth, it is a key destination for climbers and divers. Its towering rock walls present a challenge for climbers, while its crystal-clear waters hide marine life-filled seabeds, perfect for diving.

✔️ Excessive alcohol consumption and any behavior that may jeopardize the safety of the trip are not permitted.

– A hat or cap.
– A water bottle to stay hydrated.
Choose comfortable, non-slip footwear to prevent slipping on board. Avoid heels or smooth soles that may make moving around the boat difficult.
